We have outlets to plug in your cell phone however the system can't handle devices that need a lot of power like blow dryers. On gloomy days, our solar batteries may not be able to charge fully. We apologize in advance. ✓ Is there running water? Yes, year round! ✓ Is there a bathroom? Yes! There is a full bathroom with a shower, a regular flushing toilet, and a sink. We provide towels and soap for you. ✓ Is there heat? Yes! We have a furnace keeping you warm on chilly nights. However, it can get very cold in the winter so please pack accordingly. Pack extra warm clothing (thermals and long johns) to keep warm. Refunds will NOT be issued because it’s cold out. We have no control over the weather and want to be upfront about this from the beginning. ✓ Is there WIFI? Yes, thanks to Elon, we have WIFI! In addition, most carriers have pretty decent cell reception out here as well! ✓ The roads that lead to the airstream are dirt roads and because of the harsh winters have formed divots. We highly recommend bringing a truck or SUV / high profile car. ALSO DURING THE WINTER MONTHS (OCT-APRIL) with the snow, the dirt roads become tricky to drive so we recommend having a truck or SUV with 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive!! ✓ You have access to the entire acre of land the cabin sits on. Please be mindful of the other properties nearby! We're here for you during your stay, and let us know if there's anything we can do to improve your experience. If you want to chat and learn about our lovely area, we're only a phone call or message away. You have a whole acre to yourself. Please keep in mind we do have neighbors, please be respectful to the other guests. The closest airport is Grand Canyon National Park Airport (GCN) which is an hour away or Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport PHX which is about 3 hours away. The town is only 200 people and pretty much stay to themselves. ✓ Dogs are allowed during your stay for an additional $25 fee per dog. We do ask that dogs do NOT get on the beds out of respect for other people's allergies. ✓ The roads that lead to the tiny home are dirt roads and because of the harsh winters have formed divots. ✓ This is meant to be a glamping experience for you to enjoy mother nature and it's very important for us to be upfront about what you are going to experience as we do not want to be dinged in our reviews for things out of our control. We hope you enjoy your stay!

June 2025 4.50Positive: Lovely little apartment away from the city in peaceful surroundings. Great for stargazing and unwinding. Note that the apartment is likely best suited for 2 people maximum. Enjoyed our stay and apartment was neat and clean

June 2025 4.50It was a wonderful stay! Positive: The location was amazing! The sky was cloudy the first night, it started to clear up a little the second night, and it was clear the third night which allowed the stars and moon to shine really bright! Negative: When it came to making food, there was nothing to clean the dishes with. Hand towels or a scrub brush would be useful. Also, a broom that the guests have access to would be nice. Being able to clean all the sand/dirt off the floors would be nice to help keep the area clean throughout the stay.

April 2025 5.00Host Lex has magical breakfast suggestions. Listen to him when he tells you to eat somewhere! Positive: Fantastic off-grid getaway with desert scenery and great stargazing… obviously! Negative: Could be difficult to find without dirt county road driving experience.

April 2025 2.00Overpriced shanty town hut with a certain charm Positive: It’s a converted trailer on a post apocalyptic wasteland of desert dotted with a shanty town of trailers and self built huts. Yet somehow it has a charm of its own; the stars and Milky Way were great (although lights from neighbours detract from the dark sky a bit). Negative: Vastly overpriced for what you get. This place is truly tiny - you could hardly swing a cat. We met the owner who was a nice guy building a bigger place on an adjacent plot. Maybe one for the future. Handy 30 mins from Grand Canyon if you want to avoid the crowds.

April 2025 1.00Avoid at all costs! I don't understand how that place is getting this high rate reviews... Unfortunately, our experience with this listing was disappointing. When we arrived, we found multiple hygiene and maintenance issues — including a dirty bathroom sink, greasy kitchen surfaces and utensils, food containers with rust or mold, and a leaking air conditioning unit. Door Isolation was so poor that you could hear wind at full speed coming in. These conditions made it impossible for us to stay, and we had to urgently seek alternative accommodation that evening. Fridge and toilette were clean (Not whole bathroom) I wish I could show pics We documented everything with photos and followed Airbnb’s process. While the host shared unrelated photos, the actual issues we raised were not addressed. Based on our experience, I would recommend that future guests request recent, detailed photos and confirm the condition of key areas (bathroom, kitchen, AC) before booking.

April 2025 3.00Lovely inside, terrible outside. Positive: The inside of the little home is lovely and well thought through and comfortable. But the entire area outside the home is dug up and seems like a construction site. Negative: The environment, which was the reason we booked, was not nice at all. The outside area around the house looks like it is still under construction with open trenches and exposed pipes, wires, dug up dirt, etc. The area it is located in is the same - not aesthetic at all.
